The Senior D365 Finance Consultant serves as a functional leader for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, partnering with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize a scalable global finance platform. This position plays a key role in financial transformation, compliance, and continuous improvement across the enterprise. The position offers ownership of core financial capabilities, close partnership with business leadership, and the opportunity to shape how Dynamics 365 Finance supports reporting, compliance, and business growth. How You Will Make an Impact Serve as a trusted advisor to Finance and Accounting leadership, helping define and execute the D365 Finance roadmap Own end-to-end functional responsibility for core finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Expense Management, and Credit & Collections Partner closely with Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure accurate financial integration across inventory, procurement, manufacturing, and costing processes Lead fit/gap analysis and solution design in complex, multi-entity and multi-currency environments Support financial data migration and cutover activities, including chart of accounts mapping, opening balances, and financial validation Design and maintain internal controls, approval workflows, and audit trails to support SOX and compliance requirements Define and maintain finance security roles and segregation of duties in partnership with IT and security teams Lead functional integration design with external systems, including banking platforms, tax engines, payroll, treasury, and reporting tools Utilize Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS) to manage releases, service updates, and regression testing activities Drive change management, training, and user adoption initiatives across global finance teams Do you have the expertise to lead in D365 Finance? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field 7–10 years of experience as a D365 Finance Functional Consultant or Senior Business Analyst Strong hands-on configuration experience across core Dynamics 365 Finance modules Proven experience supporting global, multi-entity, multi-currency organizations Demonstrated ownership of financial data migration, cutover planning, and validation Solid understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certifications (MB-300, MB-310) Manufacturing or distribution industry experience Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, and Azure-based integrations Experience with tax, treasury, banking, or payroll integrations
