excited to announce that we are accepting Internal applications for
our Full-Time Grounds Equipment Operator in Facilities Maintenance.
Job Responsibilities Include: • Operating trucks, tractors,
backhoes, front-end loaders, mowers, snowplows and other equipment
related to preventive and corrective maintenance. • Responding to
emergencies as needed during and after hours to include snow and
ice removal. • Performing manual labor with members of grounds crew
in the maintenance of grounds and facilities when there is no need
for heavy equipment operation. • Monitoring security of equipment
and facilities, reporting unusual conditions to supervisor. Minimum
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: • Working skill in the use
of hand tools • Ability to operate motor vehicles • Valid driver’s
license with clean driving record • Ability to follow written and
oral instructions • Ability to perform heavy manual labor • Ability
to work from heights; preferred Other Qualifications: • JLG Lift
and Bucket Truck certificate (required within 6 months from date of
employment); Additional Considerations Preferred Qualifications: •
High school diploma/GED • Knowledge of arithmetic, units of measure
and equipment maintenance • Basic computer skills Special
