Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an
elementary school serving approximately 50 students. This position
offers a contract from March 2 through the end of the school year,
providing onsite services in a supportive educational environment.
The caseload primarily focuses on general education concerns such
as articulation and fluency with no severe needs, complemented by
another onsite SLP who supports more complex cases. Qualified
candidates ideally hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence
(CCC-SLP), though new graduates with relevant training and passion
for pediatric speech-language therapy will be considered. This role
involves direct delivery of speech therapy services to
elementary-aged children, collaborating closely with teachers and
school staff to enhance communication skills and support academic
success. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive
speech-language services focusing on articulation and fluency
disorders Assess, diagnose, and treat communication challenges
within a general education setting Collaborate with educators and
families to develop individualized strategies and goals Maintain
accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school
policies Participate in team meetings as needed to support student
outcomes Preferred Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC-SLP) or equivalent licensure Experience working
with elementary-aged students in a school setting Strong
interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a
multidisciplinary team Willingness to work onsite full time,
starting March 2 through the school year Location: Mocksville, NC
