Elavon is currently seeking a Payments Solutions Market Manager, who will develop profitable, new business account relationships through merchant services and creates increased profitability from existing accounts.Additional responsibilities include:

  • Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services.
  • Makes sales presentations to existing and prospective clients informing them of benefits of using the organization's products and services to meet their needs; and
  • Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.
  • Partners with local financial institution to generate warm referrals from bank staff.While this is a remote role, the position requires 70%+ travel within the local market of Virginia.Basic Qualifications
    • Ideal candidate must live in Roanoke, VA and/or Staunton/Charlottesville area
    • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
    • Two to three years of relevant outside sales experienceAbility to travel - While this is a remote role, the position requires 70%+ travel within the local market of Virginia.Preferred Skills/Experience
      • Basic knowledge of product marketing, client service issues and organization operations
      • Strong marketing, business development/sales and negotiating skills
      • Ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues
      • Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
      • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
