The Associate Project Manager on the Global Marketing Excellence, Commercial Project Management Teamsupports a dynamic global commercial organization in the oncology therapeutic area with project management responsibilities of and advisory board meetings. The Associate Project Manager (APM) will work closely with external agencies and several cross-functional partners including Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Legal and Compliance. This full-time exempt position reports to the Manager, Global Marketing Excellence, Commercial Project Management (CPM) and is a remote position. The ideal candidate will be located somewhere in the Central, Mid-West, or East Coast regions.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure project objectives are achieved within established timelines. Analyze projects, identify risk and form risk mitigation strategies

  • Lead the logistical planning of Advisory Boards through:
    
  • Managing project timelines
    
  • Status meetings
    
  • Venue negotiation and contracting
    
  • Managing participant logistics
    
  • On-site meeting support
    
  • Purchase order and/or payment processing
    
  • Meetings budget management
    
    
    
    • 
      
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with HCPs.
      
    • Plan and lead logistical coordination of Peer-to-Peer activities such as Advisory Boards and KOL Engagement activities, including compliance approvals and reporting, scheduling, contract preparation, logistics management, and materials support within defined budgets
      
    • Coordinating logistics for key congress activities, such as
      
      • 
        
      • Industry symposia
        
      • Dinner meetings
        
      • Interactions with KOLs
        
        
        
      • Travel is a required component of this job. Candidates should be willing to travel 40-50% of the time including weekends. Long hours - especially during meetings. Attend events and visit prospective meeting sites.

        • Support additional cross-functional endeavors as needed to meet the goals and objectives of the organization
          
        • Manage a working team during a project by tracking their responsibilities and progress.
          
        • Assist with planning debriefs, take meeting minutes and follow-up on action items as needed.
          
          
          
          
          QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
          
          
          
          
          • 
            
          • Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels within the organization and with key opinion leaders
            
          • Ability to view individuals with different preferences and address customer needs (active listening, empathy, problem-solving and communication)
            
          • Be able to make sound judgement and escalate when in doubt
            
          • Handle multiple projects and priorities in order to meet required deadlines
            
          • Knowledge of operations and commercial practices in the pharmaceutical/medical device industry
            
          • Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience
            
          • Certification Meeting Professional (CMP) or Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM) preferred
            
          • Project Coordinator experience (min. 3 years)
            
          • Event planning with customer facing responsibilities (min. 3 years)
            
          • Knowledgeable in MS Office, Asana, SmartSheets, Outlook, MS Project
            
          • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment contributing to the overall success
