Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)
StartDate: 06/27/2022Available Shifts: 12 N, 8 E, 8/10/12 E Pay
Rate: $1650.00 - 1950.00
SALEM, VIRGINIA. CT Tech needed! 506 bed facility. ARRT-CT and BLS
are required. 2+ years of experience AND the most recent 2 years
MUST be in a hospital setting ONLY. There is a 50 mile radius rule.
No more than a 3 month work history gap in the last year. 14 staff
in the department. Patient Ratios - 2 pts/tech/hour. Type of
equipment - GE. EMR is Meditech. MUST HAVE: GE experience and Work
independently! Performs routine scans or angio scans as per
ordering physician in compliance with department guidelines, starts
IVs and administers contrast injections. Performs a QA phantom scan
each week on the 2- 64 slice General Electric CT scanners,
completing measurements for contrast resolution, noise, and other
technical data. DRESS CODE: Scrub Color/Attire - Dark Grey/
Charcoal or Pewter. Salem is a charming small Virginia town in the
Blue Ridge Mountains, a home to Roanoke College. Salem is known as
Virginia's Championship City, famous for hosting some first-class
sporting events, mostly held in the Salem Civic Center. The city's
lively downtown has some beautiful historic buildings such as 1845
William-Brown House that now hosts Salem Museum. There are also
many delicious restaurants, including Mac and Bob's Restaurant
famous for their calzone. The best time to visit is during one of
many popular annual events, including the Salem Fair, the Salem
Half Marathon and Olde Salem Days.
Required Qualifications
2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN HOSPITAL SETTING REQUIRED
MUST HOLD CURRENT ACTIVE VA LICENSE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION
MUST HAVE RECENT TRAVEL EXPERIENCE
ARRT CERTIFICATION & BLS REQUIRED
