Cross Country Locums is currently seeking a Board Certified Trauma Surgeon to provide locums coverage for a need in Virginia

--- Dates of coverage: Ongoing
--- Must be Board Certified General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, must have Trauma experience & preferred Surgical Critical Care - (ACS or Trauma)
--- Must have 2 years recent trauma/ Acute Care Surgery experience (and case logs to support it) 28 trauma cases with an average of 7 cases per quarter within the last year, no new grads. **
--- Must have clean criminal and malpractice backgrounds
--- Must be VA licensed at time of presentation (provider can have a license in TN, KY, NC, WV, MD and can receive quick licensing in VA)
--- Must have ATLS
--- Must be able to work a minimum of 7 shifts in a row
--- 2 days in house, 1 night in house
--- Level II Trauma
--- Running traumas, emergency general surgery, rounding in ICU
--- Travel and lodging provided
--- Pay Rate competitive, paid weekly
