    Requirements
    
    • 
      
    • ASAP Start, 13 weeks
      
    • General surgical PCU unit
      
    • Travel experience preferred
      
    • BLS and ACLS required
      
    • TNCC, TCAR, or TCRN preferred
      
    • Currently 1:5 ratios for PCU (goal is 1:4)
      
    • All travelers are expected to float as needed to other PCU units and potentially Med Surg

      • Travelers are required to work at least 1 holiday per season (2 winter holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)
        
      • Compliance docs due Wednesday prior to Monday start
        
      • Local candidates are candidates who live within 100 miles of the facility. Local candidates not accepted.
        
      • Once an inpatient RN at Roanoke Memorial Hospital hits one year of travel with them, they have to leave for a minimum of six months in order to be able to considered for a travel position again.
        
      • Every other weekend required for all Infection Prevention Nursing positions at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Facility reserves the right to require makeup shifts for any missed weekend shifts.
