Job Description:
eTeam Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care
Unit for a travel nursing job in Roanoke, Virginia.Job Description
& Requirements
PCU RN (7 West)
13 weeks
3x12 hour nights, 7p-7a
BLS and ACLS required
- Fast-paced work environment with an average of 5-10
discharges/admits daily
- Care for patients from outlying areas who seek specialty
services
- Focus on acute and chronic management of heart failure patients
presenting in crisis, acute cardiac events and illnesses,
exacerbation of chronic cardiac disease.
- High acuity patients- IV medical management, hi-flow oxygen,
impaired immobility due to venous congestion
- Manage patients post cardiac catheterization and/or
cardioversion
Currently 1:5 ratios for PCU (goal is 1:4)
All travelers are expected to float as needed within acuity
ALL RTO MUST BE SENT UP FRONT WITH SUBMITTAL
Holiday RTO Requirement:
Travelers must work two out of the three major winter holidays
(Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year). Please ensure traveler's RTO
does not cover more than one of these holidays.
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)eTeam Inc Job ID # Pay
package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject
to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
