TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Roanoke, Virginia, 24014 Pay Information $2,676 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: Flexible, 13 to 52 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Travel experience preferred License: Active license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required, EPIC experience required Must-Have: COVID-19 and Flu Vaccine with Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Description: PCU RN needed for a flexible duration ranging from 13 to 52 weeks. Shifts are available from 7 AM to 7 PM, with an unblocked schedule and every other weekend required. Travelers can request any number of weeks between 13 to 52. Responsible for managing a 1:5 patient ratio, with a goal to improve to a 1:4 ratio. All travelers are expected to float as needed to other units based on acuity. Holiday work includes two out of the three major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Modules must be completed during orientation, with time allowed for orientation modules and Epic systems training. Facility requires completion of modules within the first 24 hours of beginning duties. Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local, and local candidates are not accepted. Returning travelers must have been away from the facility for at least one year.
