for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina. Job
Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start
Date: 07/15/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12
hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – CVICU Shift:
Nights – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Contract: 13 weeks Weekend
Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW) — 6 full weekends (Sat &
Sun) per contract Holidays: As needed First-time travelers:
Accepted ? Job Requirements Minimum Experience: 2 years ICU/CVICU
required Certifications: BLS, ACLS – REQUIRED SICU/Trauma/Step-down
experience preferred Clinical Skills Required: Cardiac & ICU
Proficiencies: Dysrhythmia interpretation & management Multi-system
organ failure Post-cardiac surgery (direct & indirect from OR)
Cardiac catheterization recovery ECMO (preferred) Intra-Aortic
Balloon Pump (IABP) TAVR/TAVI (preferred) Sheath removal CVVHA/CRRT
– Required Advanced Monitoring & Management: Pulmonary
Artery/Swan-Ganz lines Arterial line management ABG interpretation
Blood product administration Central/PICC line management Titration
of cardiac/vasoactive drips Continuous IV sedation IV insulin
protocol Respiratory Management: Ventilator management BiPAP/CPAP
High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) Suctioning, ETT, NT Chest tube
insertion/removal Typical Patient Population: Medical-surgical
cardiac ICU patients: MI, CHF, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Renal
Failure (CRRT), Post-Cardiac Surgery AAA repair, Vascular
surgeries, LVAD, Impella, IABP, Arctic Sun, ECMO ?? Mandatory EKG
Exam Pass/Fail requirement for all RN specialties Must pass prior
to start ?? Attendance & Compliance Zero-tolerance policy for:
Tardiness Unexcused absences Compliance Deadline: Wednesday prior
