Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Telemetry RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103! Pay

Must-Have: - IV Start and Telemetry skills required Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly result in
cancellation. Ratios are 1:5-6. Unit will accept contracts for
13-26 weeks. 36 or 48 hours can be offered. Floating is required as
needed to similar units. Required weekends include 4 weekend shifts
for each 6-week schedule. Patient diagnoses include Pre/Post Cath,
Pre/Post PPM & AICD, Watchmen Procedures, Stress Tests, and
management of arterial and venous sheaths. Nurses will care for TIA
population, carotid stent patient management, and patients with
cardiac telemetry. Management of arrhythmias and cardiac drips will
be required, including Cardizem, Amiodarone, renal dose dopamine,
Lasix, and non-titrating Nitro drips for stable chest pain and
NSTEMI patients. The unit is a 24-bed inpatient cardiac procedural
unit housing cardiac telemetry along with pre and post-cardiac
procedural patients. Average length of stay is between 1.8-2.4 days
with rapid patient turnover daily. An admission, discharge,
transfer nurse is available during peak patient transition times.
Any absences must be made up at the end of the contract and cannot
be made up as another day. If a nurse calls out on a weekend shift,
they may be required to automatically make another weekend shift up
at management's discretion. The unit cannot guarantee a block
schedule but will accommodate requests to the best of its ability.
Must pass EKG testing prior to starting for this specialty.
Travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row or exceed 60 hours
in a week. All certifications and references are required prior to
