Join Carilion Clinic as a GI Hospitalist Carilion Clinic, a not-for-profit healthcare organization serving nearly one million residents in western Virginia, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible GI Hospitalist to join our growing teams at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center and Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital , our flagship academic medical center and Level 1 trauma center. Position Highlights: 100% inpatient GI practice; procedures and consultative care Seven-on/seven-off schedule for optimal work-life balance Collaborate with a dedicated and experienced team of gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, and hospitalists Access to advanced endoscopic equipment and technology Academic appointment available with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine Support for clinical research and teaching if desired J1 sponsorship available Qualifications: MD/DO degree with completion of a GI fellowship Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Virginia Strong clinical skills and interest in inpatient GI care Commitment to team-based care and patient satisfaction About Carilion Clinic: Carilion Clinic is a nationally recognized, integrated health care system with 7 hospitals, 240 practice sites, and nearly 14,000 employees.
