Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Maternal Fetal – Travel Assignment Location: Roanoke, VA Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks) Shift: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12s) Start Date: November 17, 2025 Overview We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Roanoke, Virginia. This role involves night shifts and requires flexibility for call coverage and holiday rotations. Candidates must have experience in general and obstetric ultrasound, including all trimesters. Pediatric exam experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities - Perform general and OB ultrasound exams (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester) - Support pediatric imaging as needed - Participate in call rotation Monday–Thursday every six weeks (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) - Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation - Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care - Adhere to safety, privacy, and compliance standards Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound - BLS certification - ARDMS certification (preferred) - Minimum of 5 years of experience, or prior travel experience if under 5 years - Proficiency in general and OB ultrasound techniques - Availability for weekend shifts, call coverage, and holidays Additional Information - ASAP start preferred - Travel experience required for candidates with less than five years of clinical experience - Pediatric imaging experience is a plus About The Judge Group Judge Healthcare, a division of The Judge Group, bridges the talent divide for companies and organizations across the healthcare ecosystem, providing resources and specialized roles such as travel nurses, allied health professionals, locum tenens, and more.
