Pay Information $1,981 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 Year Required License: Valid state RN/LPN license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Proficient in Med/Surg care Experience in Rapid Response/Code teams Skilled in peripheral line care/management Experience with nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, and tanks Knowledge of isolation precautions Charge and Precept experience required Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical specialty. The shift consists of three 12-hour night shifts. Charting is done using a specific electronic health record system with experience required. The RN will be responsible for patient care in an adult acute care unit. The unit cares for patients with elective back surgeries, trauma, prostate cancer, gallbladders, and cellulitis. The nurse will be required to float within their skill set. Charge and precepting duties are expected in this role. Ratios of 1:6 for patient care will be maintained. Weekend and holiday work will be required as scheduled. Compliance with call-off policies is part of the role.
