License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have:
PCU experience Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and surgical patients
Chest tube management Epidurals Description: General Comments Unit
Information: Number of Beds: 15 Number of Staff: 22 (RN/PCT) Type
of Staff: - Day Shift: 3-4 RNs, 2 PCTs, 1 Clinical Coordinator -
Night Shift: 3-4 RNs, 1 PCT Patient Ratios: 4-5 patients per RN
Type of Equipment: Cardiac Telemetry, chest tubes, cardiac drips
(NTG, Cardizem, Amiodarone), post-cardiac catheterization patients,
post-surgical patients including open heart, lung patients, general
surgery patients, post-operative orthopedic patients requiring
cardiac monitoring. EMR: Meditech Typical Hiring Profile: Most
recruited for: Candidates without these skills will not be
considered for the role. PCU experience Knowledge of cardiac
rhythms and surgical patient care Chest tube management Epidural
management Preferred or nice to have: Candidates with these skills
