Remede Consulting Group is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU -
Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Roanoke,
Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU -

Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights
Employment Type: Travel RN – Neuro PCU SCHEDULING DETAILS AND
CHARTING • Shift hours :3x12s, 645p-715a 4x12s available by request
up to 52 weeks available by request • Charting: EPIC experience
required • Weekend Requirement: May be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a
6-week scheduling block • RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests:
ALL requests must be included with the submission. • Call off
Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. •
Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract.
*No Christmas RTO* • Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes • Locals
Accepted? Radius Rule: Yes. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for
radius rule criteria. • Pending License Accepted: Yes, only if the
candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state.
Otherwise, submission must include an active Virginia State or
Compact RN/LPN license. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS ACLS / BLS / NIHSS
REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS • Cardiac monitoring and emergency
response (dysrhythmia interpretation/management, Rapid
Response/Code teams) • IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product
administration, central/peripheral line care • Medication
administration, cardiac drips (no titration) • Respiratory support
(nasal cannula, O2 admin, non-invasive airway mgmt) • Rapid
Response; Isolation precautions UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING • Ratios:
1:4–5 (Please confirm traveler is comfortable with a 1:5 ratio) •
Patient population: Adult patients with neurological conditions •
Includes 5 dedicated beds for continuous 24-hour epilepsy
monitoring • Care includes neurosurgical recovery, stroke
management, neuro-specific diagnoses, and medical overflow •
Floating: Traveler will be required to float to units within their
clinical skillset Remede Consulting Group Job ID DEC2025-CC680. Pay
package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject
to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
