Experience Description: The role involves working in Labor and
Delivery. The shift is during the night, requiring three 12-hour
shifts and call depending on census. The patient ratio is 1:3. The
position requires American Heart Association (AHA) approved
certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, and AWHONN. The
traveler must clock in and out to ensure accurate payment. The
position requires that any missed shift necessitates a make-up
shift during the same work week or pay period. The flu vaccine is
required during flu season, and declinations will not be accepted.
The nurse should have experience in managing high-risk deliveries
and assisting with various procedures. Required skills include
administration of medications, support with breastfeeding, and care
for both mothers and newborns. The daily census is approximately
2-4 patients with a facility birth rate of about 300 births per
month. The candidate must provide proof of required license and
