ICU/Critical Care RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103! Job

Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH certifications required Must-Have:
Strong experience with arterial lines and titrating vasoactive
drips. Experience in PCU, DOU, IMC, Stepdown, and Telemetry.
Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias. Familiarity with
Rapid Response Teams and IV insulin protocols. Proficient in blood
product administration and central/PICC line management. Knowledge
of heparin protocols, CVA, chest tubes, and non-invasive airway
management. Experience with isolation precautions and tracheostomy
management. Description: This position is for a registered nurse in
the ICU specialty. The unit operates similarly to an ICU with a
strong focus on patient care. The nurse will care for patients who
may have respiratory distress, unstable hemodynamics, or
post-operative complications. The ideal candidate will possess a
minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience. Registered
nurses are expected to monitor up to four patients at a time.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in telemetry and conscious
sedation. Floating to sister units may be required as needed.
Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Special procedures
on the unit include the administration of specific drips and
management of chest tubes. Candidates must be comfortable managing
bedside telemetry and recognizing dysrhythmias. This role requires
effective communication with interdisciplinary teams to provide
comprehensive patient care. The workplace may include high-acuity
patients, and the nurse must be prepared for any emergent
