We are hiring for a full-time position but are also open to part-time candidates. While we prefer hygienists with 2 years of experience, we are absolutely open to new graduates who bring the right attitude and are eager to grow. Schedule Full-Time Hours: - Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM - Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Thursday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM - Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Also open to considering part-time candidates! Minimum Qualifications - Current dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) - Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation - CPR Certification Preferred Experience - New graduates and seasoned hygienists are both welcome! - Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems - Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health - Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements - Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
