Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Fishersville, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,738 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 11 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Fishersville, Virginia, 22939! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 11 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Previous surgical experience is required. Charge experience is preferred. Pediatric surgical patients aged 12 and above are accepted depending on the surgical procedure. Description: Ratios are 1 nurse to 6 patients. First-time travelers are accepted. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs. Every other weekend work is required. Fast-paced inpatient surgical unit. Cannot guarantee block scheduling, but shifts may be grouped together when possible. Patient diagnoses include general surgery, abdominal surgery, urological surgery, orthopedic surgery, hysterectomy, mastectomy, spine surgery, and bariatric surgery. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Current vaccines: Flu vaccine is required, medical or religious exemptions accepted. A zero-tolerance policy for THC is enforced. Fit testing is required for compliance.
