X-Ray Tech Location: Farmville, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,902 per week Shift Information: Days - 16 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied (Sunday - Saturday) Hours per Shift: 0700-2300 Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Active Driver's License Certifications: ARRT Must-Have: - ARRT certification - Active Driver's License Description: Serves over 7,500 care facilities nationwide. ROLE: Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG (if applicable) services to nursing homes and healthcare facilities. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment. Submit/transmit X-Rays to a Radiologist for interpretation. Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams as ordered by the physician. Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent x-ray images. Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation if required. Scan exam-related paperwork and ensure completion of daily protocols. Regularly communicate with dispatch and management. Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients. Maintain vehicle and X-Ray equipment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described may require reasonable accommodations. Radiologic Technologists may need to push/pull anywhere from 50-100 lbs. Using vehicle ramps and pulleys decreases that weight. Equipment handling within facilities may increase the weight. Pushing/pulling with 50 lbs of force (or more) can occur 16 to 24 times a day.
