Registered Nurse (RN) | Long-Term Care Location: Lynchburg, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,042 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/7/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Lynchburg, Virginia, 24503! Job Title: Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Long Term Acute Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in relevant specialty License: Active Virginia/Compact License required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Experience in ventilator management and weaning - Experience in wound care and infectious disease - Experience with IV medication Description: New position available in Long Term Acute Care. This role involves managing patients with ventilators, chest tubes, and drains. The nurse-to-patient ratio will be 1:4 or 1:5. Assignments will end on Saturday. The position may require working 2 to 3 weekends per month based on unit need. Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted. The client can cancel assignments up to 36 hours due to census changes. You will encounter students and new hires regularly and are expected to support them in their learning process.
