Category Human Resources Description The Human Resources Director will primarily be responsible for the overall management and development of all HR aspects for CTG and for F9 Investment companies, including recruitment and selection, learning and development, talent management, development and implementation of HR policies, compensation and benefits strategy and employee relations.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:-- Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions. Coordinate with Recruiting Manager on recruiting, testing, and interviewing for Store Operations. Provide assistance and counseling to managers on candidate selection, and conduct and analyze exit interviews.-- Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.-- Support and coach the management team on people leadership matters, including business change and transformation. Form strong relationships with the management team to be able to challenge and coach in a high performance environment.-- Be responsible for all HR management and development (including policy/practices, discipline, grievance, mentoring, salary and conditions, talent management, succession planning, driving performance appraisals and other HR related issues for Store Operations and other F9 Investment companies.-- Work with Store Operations to establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring metrics that support achievement of business goals.-- Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales.-- Liaise with Regional Managers and Managers to understand their HR requirements.-- Facilitate as a mediator when required to try and resolve employee grievances.-- Maintain a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.-- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.-- Administer the performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.GENERIC SKILLS:-- Prioritization and time management-- Will be able to demonstrate being self directed, resourceful and creative; Able to manage own time and work autonomously; able to work on own initiative with drive and enthusiasm-- Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments-- Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.-- Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.-- Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
