Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years' experience in substance use disorder treatment. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree with more than two years of experience treating substance use disorder and certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC).
Provide treatment and support to assist patient in their recovery from addictions, such as alcoholism, drug addiction, eating disorders or other behavioral problems.
Conduct individual counseling sessions and group or family sessions as scheduled and document as required.
Facilitate assigned group or family sessions and assist with modifying problem behaviors.
Responsible for initial assessments, as well as follow up assessment for patient.
Prepare individual treatment plan for each assigned patient.
Evaluate the needs of the patient and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities is needed.
Bachelor's degree in social or health services field, with four plus years' experience in counseling field;
OR Bachelor's degree in other field with six plus years in the counseling field;
OR Master's degree in social or health services field, with two plus years' experience in counseling field. Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
CSAC, LPC, LCSW or comparable preferred.
