Modine is currently hiring a Department Lead Coordinator to assist in managing the Chiller production department and supporting areas to operate in an efficient manner, making frequent, random quality checks. The Department Lead Coordinator will also interact with Material Control Department, Production Supervisor, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance Departments. Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate the necessary parts to assembly line to ensure that the line operates in an efficient manner
The capability of managing production orders and completing them per the published schedule.
Provide assistance to the supervisor by managing moment-to-moment issues associated with the department.
Assist quality control by catching errors prior to EOLT, working with the supervisor on long-term corrective actions
Makes frequent random quality checks
Interact with Production Control Department, Production Supervisor, Quality Control Department, Engineering, and Maintenance Departments
Fill in as Department Supervisor in the absence of the Production Supervisor
Reports improper equipment operation and defective materials to the Production Supervisor
Record time and production
Work eight-hour shift concurrently with other plant operations. Periodic, daily, and weekend overtime as production schedules demand.
Responsible for managing daily house cleaning activities
Assist with training new/transferred employees as required
Other essential functions may be assigned
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Good math and communication skills are a necessity for successful job performance in the role
Computer skills, and ability to become First Aid Certified
Ability to operate manual hand trucks
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
