What We Require: Education: Bachelor's degree is required B.S., Exercise Science, Sports Medicine or related field is preferred. Experience: 2 years recent and relevant experience Licensure, certification, and/or registration: AHA BLS-HCP certification required or obtained within 90-days of hire. Personal training certification or certified exercise physiologist or certified clinical exercise physiologist or certified strength and conditioning specialist from a nationally recognized organization such as ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NSCA, or Cooper Institute is required. Carilion approved specialty training certifications: orthopedic, movement disorder, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and cancer are required 90-days of hire. Other Minimum Qualifications: Desire to work within a comprehensive health care team. - Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.
