The Clinical Coordinator works collaboratively with providers to ensure quality care and follow-up for individuals treated in the ED. Review of lab results and radiology review, comprehensive review of documentation to appropriately assess the needs of patients. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years RN experience required. - At least 2 years experience in relevant specialty or department, as defined by the department, desired (ex: hospital setting, vascular, rehab, long term care, home health, cardiology, ambulatory, surgery). Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Current VA RN license required. - Must successfully complete orientation and competency requirement. Must obtain and maintain appropriate certifications as defined by the department. - - -

• BLS-HCP required within 1 year of hire or at time of hire -
• ACLS, Conscious Sedation, CCRN, ONC, Pain Management and other modality specific certifications (ex: Cardiology, Surgery, Orthopedics, Vascular) certifications desired. - Valid Virginia, or state specific, drivers license required for employees working in Home Health or departments where the work requires traveling. Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills required. Strong critical thinking, conflict resolution, organization - and effective judgement abilities required. - Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation requirements.
