upkeep and maintenance of warehouse-related equipment keeping day
and night warehouse operations functional to ensure efficient
shipping and receiving of product.Join a winning team at US
FOODs!!! WE HELP YOU MAKE IT!Schedule is Sunday-Thursday
10:30pm-7:00am Pay starting at $23 to $29 per hour based on
exp.Plus day one benefits MEDICAL, DENTAL, VISION, 401k AND LIFE
INSURNACE Must have your own hand tools there is a $200 annual tool
stipend -purchased through US Foods (use it or lose it, no cash in
value)ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform Electrical work
as assignedPerform necessary repairs and maintenance to
warehouse-related equipment to ensure adequate machinery is
available for day and night operations.Review any equipment reports
submitted, record actions/repairs taken, and maintains a repair log
per USF policy in CMMS system.Perform PM's on equipment, and
maintain proper documentation, per USF policy.Comply with all USF
and government guidelines regarding safetyMaintain batteries and
other equipment contained therein.Responsible for company tools and
maintenance equipment used in performance of job duties, including
inventory maintenance, safe operation, proper storage, and security
of tool area.Utilize electrical test equipment (i.e.Multi-meters,
Amp Clamps, Phase monitors, etc....)Performs maintenance duties as
assignedStrong working knowledge of HVAC-R focus on getting
certificationWorking knowledge of Automation & PLCs introduced to
facility or supporting servicesWork on both pneumatic and hydraulic
systems (Troubleshoot & Repair)Assist w/ OJT (On Job Training) w/
lesser skilled mechanicsSUPERVISION None?Report to Maintenance
Manager & LeadRELATIONSHIPSInternal:Warehouse personnel and
supervisory staff, Operations support, Maintenance and Sanitation
personnelExternal:Outside vendors,
contractorsQUALIFICATIONSEducation/Training: High School education
or equivalent; AAS Degree or Trade school degree preferred.Related
Experience:5 years minimum Electrical Experience or Journeyman
CertificationPrevious mechanic experience required.Working
knowledge of PLC'sWorking knowledge of NFPA & NECWorking knowledge
of OSHA guidelines or safety procedures/processFabricating,
Welding, Mechanical ExperienceFunctional knowledge of
PSMFamiliarity HVAC-RKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of
equipment repair and operation; able to troubleshoot, repair and
overhaul warehouse equipment; welding ability; able to read
schematics, blueprints and read & write legibly; able to follow
orders; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply,
divide); able to work with little direct supervision. Ability to
