MEAlbany, NYCincinnati, OHRoanoke, VADescriptionResponsible for
facilitating federal employee health benefits sales and retention
and new member outreach through phone or chat to welcome them to
the program, share highlights and benefits, and ensure they are
enrolled in the product that best meets their needs. Outreach to
current and potential members to develop new opportunities.Primary
duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Contacts new members introducing them to the Value of Blue and
welcoming them to the program to promote retention.
- Influence federal employees to enroll in our products during
Open Season.
- Prospect federal employees and produce revenue through new
sales.
- Provides information to current and potential enrollees to
highlight and explain benefit enhancements and/or changes.
- Responds to inquiries from members and HR staff within the
various federal agencies.
- Researches and coordinates responses to inquiries.
- Works with FEP Customer Service and Claims to resolve member
issues.
- Remains informed of the various FEHB competitor products and
participate and attend various training programs to enhance selling
and servicing abilities.
- Employs consultative sales skills to influence the
decision-making process.
- Acts as back up in the field when necessary to fill
gaps.Minimum Requirements:
- Requires an AA/AS/BA/BS or experience in a related field and a
minimum of 2 years of sales/service experience; or any combination
of education and experience which would provide an equivalent
background.
- Health and Life license required. * Company paid training
includes base job and licensing (Life and Health Insurance license
