Position Details:
? Title: Electrical Technician (Crane Crew)
? Location: Roanoke, VA
? Shift: Day Shift (Monday through Friday), 7am - 3pm
? Compensation: $74k - 77k First Year Compensation, plus OT (average of -5hrs/week) = $85k - 90k in Total Comp First Year
($21.17/hour + -50% Weekly Production Bonus + -20% Monthly Conversion Bonus = $37 - 38/hour), plus $11k - 14k in annual OT!)

Position Description: In this role and as part of the Crane Crew, you will perform mechanical and electrical modifications, inspections, troubleshooting and repair to all cranes in the plant.
--- Have knowledge to use appropriate handbooks and technical reference manuals to troubleshoot and repair electromechanical crane equipment.
--- You will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems for all production and facilities equipment in the plant.
--- You will work as part of a team to ensure that all preventative and corrective maintenance is performed in a timely manner.
--- Safely work at heights and in heavy industrial environment.
--- Coordinate with all departments for repair and maintenance of cranes.
--- Schedule, perform, assign, and record maintenance and repair tasks.
--- Identify modifications and services to increase crane reliability.
--- Have knowledge of crane structure and electrical control systems.
--- Be able to troubleshoot, repair, replace, and operate all equipment on any crane in the plant.
--- Operate forklifts, man-lifts, and other mobile equipment.

Requirements:
Steel Dynamics is looking for strong electrician (or industrial ETs with 450V experience) candidates with 4+ years of electrical maintenance experience. Must have experience in High Voltage, AC/DC, Electrical Theory, Motors and controllers.
