What you will be doing:Reports to Shift Lead on freezer operation, manning, prioritizing workload.Coordinates and insures that all quality standards are met in freezers.Participates in Shift Audits (Put Away, Loading, Picking) accuracy and productivity.Coordinates proper movement of product within the Distribution Freezer area.Instruct employees on processes and product for accuracy and quality within the freezers.Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently.Participates and Instructs on proper handling and stacking of product within the freezers.Insures proper sanitation of freezers and coordinates with Shift Lead/Supervisors that
housekeeping standards are met.Oversees Battery Changing on Forklifts.Ensures daily all Pallet Runners are accounted for and coordinates with Shift Lead on action plans to retrieve.Performs position training on Freezer Positions.Participates in Pre-Shift Startup Meetings.Assigns and follows up on tasks assigned to warehouse associates to ensure that process standards are met.Performs other duties and tasks as directed.Performs picking, put-away, and loading responsibilities as needed.Reports any equipment damages, abuse to equipment, and procedure violations in Distribution Freezers.May perform Shift Lead responsibilities in the absence of/when necessary. What we need from you: High school diploma or GED required2 years experience in warehouse environment, with lead/foreman background.Strong knowledge of Oracle/CPD RF functionsMature and conscientious attitude. Self motivated with the ability to work independentlyForklift experience required - standup/reach & sit-down/life types.Experience working with pallet jacks, large freezer lifts, and tractor-trailer operation preferred.Ability to work in a freezer environment.Strong leadership skills required.Basic computer and math skills.Interpersonal skills with the ability to work with other departments.Ability to work flexible hours including some mandatory weekends and overtime.Strong written and oral communication skills in the English language.The physical and mental demands described in each job posting are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of each job.
