PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Our guiding principles are to start with the customer, move faster, and partner effectively.This position is in the Treasury Management Payment Solutions (TMPS) Business Unit Control Team (BUCT) more specifically; a group who supports Treasury Management (TM) Client Services, TM Client On Boarding and Digital Solutions for Business (DS4B) areas. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent and comprehensive risk management control engagement and execution across the supported groups. Through proactive partnership and transparent risk management processes, TMPS BUCT provides operational risk coverage by identifying, measuring, evaluating, monitoring, reporting and mitigating operational and compliance risks through the establishment and assurance of effective and efficient controls around end-to-end business processes.This Operational Risk Consultant will partner with the lines of businesses to implement risk-based programs to identify, assess and mitigate any compliance and related operational risks that result from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems or external events, while maintaining a balance between risk mitigation and operational efficiency. Additional responsibilities include assisting the lines of business translate Corporate and PVSI TMPS policies and standards into procedures, assessing emerging risks, monitoring the effectiveness of the existing control environment and communicating with associated stakeholders support teams.Leadership skills, line of business and treasury management product, service, implementation and digital channel knowledge and applicable regulatory and operational risk and control knowledge, integrity, and credibility will be determining factors in selection. Successful candidates will be articulate and possess a demonstrated knowledge of Wholesale lines of business and TM products, an understanding of the regulatory and operational risks inherent in the line of businesses; they will be impressive in their inter-personal effectiveness and with regard to their accomplishments. A key differentiator will be the ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, matrixed work environment. The role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal integrity.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

      • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important; ability to complete business process management activities (such as documenting activities, risks, controls, procedures, materials, etc. used in the process)
      • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
      • Work with lines of business, monitor and provide management updates on lines of business issues and corrective actions to ensure positive/forward movement and the completion of activities on time (or early)
      • Be knowledgeable of, and assist lines of business with, new or changed policies, standards and risk management requirements and activities (such as Business Process Management, Self-Assurance Activities, risk assessments, new business initiatives, etc.)
      • Work with line of business to ensure all risks and controls are properly identified and documented in easy to understand terms
      • Roll out new risk programs to lines of business

        The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
